GOVERNOR TO VETO ANY LEGISLATION THAT RAISES INSURANCE RATES

April 08, 2010 @ 11:20 AM — by SEO Admin
On Wednesday, April 7, 2010, Governor Charlie Crist sent a message to lawmakers that he will veto any legislation that raises insurance rates on home and business owners. He added that he will veto any such legislation with pleasure. Crist doesn't believe that legislators will override his veto as this is an election year and such legislation is obviously unpopular with voters. Many voters are struggling just to keep their homes out of foreclosure and any rise in insurance rates would certainly have drastic consequences for many. Governor Crist is leaving office to seek the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate.
